Holy Spirit is your Comforter and Nurturer. He fills you with life and empowers you to live supernaturally. When you need help, you can listen to what He is saying in your heart. He is the One who convicts you of sin and guards you from evil. Holy Spirit will bring Scriptures to your mind when you need them and give you the words to say when you’re not sure what to pray. He is also the One who gives spiritual gifts to every believer.
The closer you get to God, the more you will experience Holy Spirit.

The fruit of the Spirit is a gift from God to believers to help them live in ways that please Him and show His love to others. One role of Holy Spirit is guiding you to spiritual maturity. He helps transform your thoughts and actions to be more like Jesus. How do you know if you’re growing and becoming more like Him?
The Bible says you can track your growth by the fruit of the Spirit. You can see Holy Spirit growing and changing you by the fruit you produce. You will produce certain words, thoughts, and actions. The fruit of the Spirit grows in you just as fruit grows on trees. When you put your faith in Jesus you are immediately forgiven of sin, but there is still a process of learning to be more like Christ. Holy Spirit helps us to make those changes. You will see the effect of those changes with the fruit you produce. Those who love Jesus will produce fruit that looks like Him.
