Decree: Mobilize Angels Against Diabolic Tactics
We decree the angels of the Lord are bringing our prayers to pass.
In the Book of Daniel, Daniel had been praying over the future of his nation and had asked for help and wisdom from God.
We are told that God heard Daniel’s prayer the very first day that he started praying and had sent one of the most powerful angels, an archangel named Gabriel, with an answer. However, there was spiritual warfare that took place between Heaven and earth in the astrological, or atmospheric, Heaven between Gabriel and a demon prince, the spirit prince of Persia.
This spirit prince of Persia was warring against Gabriel to stop him from getting through to Daniel with the answer to the prayer. The battle lasted for 21 days and was quite intense.
While I was pouring out my heart, baring my sins and the sins of my people Israel, praying my life out before my God, interceding for the holy mountain of my God—while I was absorbed in this praying, the humanlike Gabriel, the one I had seen in an earlier vision, approached me, flying in like a bird about the time of evening worship. He stood before me and said, “Daniel, I have come to make things plain to you” (Daniel 9:20-22 MSG).
Gabriel told Daniel, “I’m here to give you God’s answer to your prayer and to help you understand the strategy of the King. You have a good future in store, and I’m going to assist you in understanding it.” Clearly, God assigns angels to bring us answers to prayer. They organize around the prayers of the saints to bring them to pass—especially the prayers of an ekklesia over a region.
I believe that’s why the kingdom of hell fights corporate prayer so intensely. When the ekklesia gathers in corporate prayer, it mobilizes angels. To change regions or to change a nation often requires angelic assistance, and it’s why they have been given to us. Throughout Scripture, we see angels getting people out of trouble in their nations, cities, or in corporate ways, bringing answers to their prayers.
One of the ways in which you can identify whether you are in a brand-new era in the Kingdom is by fresh anointings of Holy Spirit. Everywhere I go, I am seeing new anointings and outpourings of the Holy Spirit. It’s not like it was a few years ago; there’s something happening in the atmosphere. Second, there is increased angel activity. Angels always assist the new eras and new moves of God. Study this in history and you will see angel activity every time. And third, the prophetic words of the apostles and the prophets will declare it.
All three of those things are happening now in accelerated ways on the earth. I’ve never seen more Kingdom activity in my entire life; it’s as if Heaven has amped up, and we need to amp up with it.
Holy Spirit,
I ask today for a fresh grace of intercession to fall upon me. Lead me as I pray, show me how to partner with Your heart for breakthrough. And as Your church prays, may your angels be mobilized. May our regions and nations be changed as the result of Your praying church.
Bind Hell’s Tactics and Loose the Gospel of the Kingdom
We decree Holy Spirit empowerment, strategies, and Angel Armies will assist the New Testament church to bind hell’s tactics and loose the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Jesus says, “My church, consisting of My heirs, are to rule and reign with Me in their region.” Authority has been given to Christ’s heirs, the born-again ones, to make rulings on the earth for or against something. “Be verbal,” the King says. We have been given authority in Jesus’ name to overrule things on the earth. We can overrule hell’s government. We can even overrule natural government by asking for divine assistance. We can ask for angel armies to be loosed to back up the rulings that we make.
Jesus says, “Whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19 KJV). The word bind and the word loose are both courtroom terms—they are legal rulings. You can have a binding co tract or you could go to court and have a contract dissolved or loosed.
The Greek text has fascinated me for years. Jesus literally says, in Matthew 16:18-19, when you put all of the Greek tenses to it: “Whatever you at any time encounter of hell’s council (hell’s leadership/government), that I am determined my ekklesia will prevail against, you will then face a decision as to whether or not you will bind it. What transpires is conditional upon your response. If you do purposely and consciously involve yourself in binding the issue on earth, you will find at that future moment when you do, it is already bound in Heaven.”
Jesus says that what is bound or loosed is conditional upon the church’s response. “If it’s bound by My people in My name, or loosed on earth by My people in My name, Heaven will back it up. My throne will rule in your favor and sufficient force will be released to enforce it. My angel armies will be sent to assist.”
The battle is for the throne of the region. If you overthrow hell’s kingdom in Jesus’ name by binding spirit princes and then occupying the seat of power as a vigilant ruling body under Christ’s authority, then it’s much easier to get rulings accomplished upon the earth because you removed hell’s power that was trying to come against it. The battle is won in the spirit before you ever see it in the earth. Jesus said, “If My church will battle for the throne of their region and will bind hell’s king- dom, hell’s kingdom will not prevail because I, Lord Sabaoth, will release angel armies to enforce their rulings.”
We are to bind what Heaven wants bound and loose what Heaven wants loosed by aligning ourselves with the Word of God. Clearly, Christ Jesus expects His ekklesia to declare or make rulings in His name. It is to decide what is proper or improper for a region. It is to decide what is unlawful in a region. It is to decide and declare the way culture ought to be. It is important to remind ourselves that Jesus said this, not a disciple, not some other character in the Bible. The King Himself said this. The church is to decree God’s Word in a region.
Holy Spirit,
I understand the church has responsibility to decree Your powerful Word. Today, I decree that I will speak Your Word in my life and in my region, releasing angelic assistance and seeing supernatural breakthrough. I declare that Your church will respond and our region will be won for the Kingdom of Heaven.
