Equipping Your Children To Defeat the Spirit of Fear
Regardless of age, the decrees are an essential tool to combat the enemy’s tricks. Equip your child or grandchild with these decrees to break off the spirit of fear in Jesus’ might name.
Fear Must Go
I decree that every kind of fear has to leave me. Fear is not allowed to control me, follow me, or enter my mind. God has not given me a spirit of fear. Fear is from the devil, and I command all the work of the devil to leave in Jesus’ Name!
Fear, you have to go right now!
I declare I am not afraid because I am filled with the power of God that pushes all fear away. I am full of God’s love that helps me know I will always be protected. I have a mind that is filled with peace and so there is no need to be fearful.
Because God is taking care of me, all fear must go!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV).
Word of Encouragement
One of the biggest things the devil likes to use against us is to make us afraid. Many of the things we are afraid of are things that will never happen to us or things that aren’t as bad as we imagined them. It can be as simple as a fear about taking a test or completing a difficult assignment. We need to remind ourselves that God doesn’t want us to be imagining how something bad might happen or might not turn out right. When the enemy tries to send fearful thoughts and get us to think about how something might go wrong, we need to remind him that we aren’t controlled by fear.
God isn’t the one who makes us afraid. God has filled us with His love that reminds us that He will always be there for us. God has filled us with power that overcomes fear. You have the power inside you to stand up to fear today and command it to leave! The Lord has also given us a mind of peace so that we don’t have to worry about things. Don’t let yourself be fearful today. Rise up and declare, “Fear has to go!”
Angels By Me
I decree that I am constantly aware that God’s angels stand beside me. They are guarding me and keeping me from harm. Angels are surrounding me on every side so that nothing can come against me to hurt me.
I know that the angels defend me when people or the enemy would try to attack. In Jesus’ Name I speak that I am always under the protection of the heavenly hosts of angels. I declare no accidents or injuries can touch me because of God’s angels. They protect both me and my family each and every day.
The angels are by me in the car and when I go to church and school. They are by me when we go to stores and other public places. I am at peace and without fear because angels are by me all the time!

For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him (Psalm 34:7).

Isn’t it good to know that you have angels guarding you? Think about it! Everywhere you go and in all you do there is an angel nearby. Probably not just one angel either! There are many angels, and they surround you. That means nothing can attack you on the side, in the front, or from behind. When we respect and trust in God, one of the important benefits is the angels are assigned to us from heaven. And they are also assigned to your family, so wherever your parents or brothers or sisters might go, the angels go along. That’s why you shouldn’t be afraid of something bad happening.
One way to overcome the fear of something bad happening is to think regularly about the angels that are by you. Picture a big old angel standing in your room or sitting in your car! Think about angels following you up and down the hallway at school too! When you put your mind on this fact, it gives you a confidence that you are always going to be safe. Remember, the angels are right beside you today!
