Bill Johnson: ‘Attract Miracles by Doing THIS’

Jean-Luc Trachsel is a dear friend of mine.

We have ministered together all around the world, and I have experienced firsthand the healing anointing upon his life. What a wonderful honor it is to see so many astounding miracles coming from one man’s yes to God. May the name of Jesus continue to be glorified by such surrender and faith.

Jean-Luc has a notable passion for an authentic Gospel, one that is truly supernatural. And it’s not because he needs to be entertained by signs and wonders. It’s just that he has seen that it’s often the miracle that inspires people to give God the most glory. For this reason, and so many more, I believe his book, Moving in Miracles and Healing, will help to ignite the hearts of its readers toward a lifestyle of miracles.

I’ve also gotten to know Jean-Luc’s heart and been moved by his passion for the Lord and his unquenchable desire for more of the Holy Spirit to be seen in his life. On top of that, his love for those who are not born again is very convicting and inspiring. I have been deeply impacted by his love for the lost. But most beautiful to me is how his passion for God affects his love for his family. In a day when family values seem to be fading for some, it’s refreshing to see those who have said yes to Jesus for both the miracle realm of the Gospel and the practical realm of love and service to their wives and children. This is a wonderful thing to behold.

Jesus is the same today as He has always been. If we want to know what God is like, we just need to look at Jesus. He has already shown us. He came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). And everyone who came to Him needing a miracle received what they came for. It must also be said that everyone the Father directed Him to left with their miracle. Before Jesus went to be with the Father, He told us, “As the Father has sent Me, I also send you” (John 20:21 NKJV). It’s simple: Our God-given assignment is to destroy the works of the devil by displaying His goodness. Discovering God’s will for our life is not mysterious. He said it quite simply: we are to “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons” (Matthew 10:8 NKJV). That, at least in part, is to display the will of God for and through our lives.

God put the seed of a revolutionary inside every believer. We were born to face impossibilities, living a lifestyle of radical obedience. Jesus modeled this for us in so many ways. When Jesus said “Peace,” He calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee. That it was a storm He could sleep in tells us He lives in peace. This also tells us He had peace to give. He released the Kingdom of God into the storm, and it had no choice but to respond. When we speak what God is saying, the reality of the Spirit of God is released into the situation.

Whatever doesn’t function in Heaven can’t function in the realm of the King’s domain. That’s why cancer leaves the body when the dominion of God collides with that sickness. The blind eye opens, and the broken bone is mended. The pain and suffering that don’t exist in Heaven are not tolerated in the atmosphere of His Kingdom. Learning how to cooperate with the heart of God, to see Him glorified through manifesting His will, is the great journey of the believer. And that’s where Moving in Miracles and Healing comes in. This powerful book was written to help us in the journey to glorify God through the demonstration of His love through power.

Once you’ve seen the weighty and powerful love of God, you know that only a miracle could fully represent it well. The normal Christian life is one filled with the supernatural interventions of our loving Father. And this book is a powerful tool to build such a life. Jean-Luc shares practical teaching and powerful testimonies, vital for anyone hungry to see more of Heaven come to earth. We are focused on becoming a generation who will authentically display Jesus to the world. He left us in charge. He gave us His Word, His name, and His Spirit. All of the authority of Heaven, the presence of God—unlimited, without measure—resides in you and me. Let’s go and change the world.

Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson is the Senior Pastor of Bethel Church. Bill is a fifth generation pastor with a rich heritage in the things of the Spirit. This apostolic network has crossed denominational lines in building relationships that enable church leaders to walk in both purity and power. The present move of God has brought Bill into a deeper understanding of the phrase, "on earth as it is in heaven." Heaven is the model for our life and ministry. Jesus lived with this principle by only doing what He saw His Father doing. Learning to recognize the Holy Spirit's presence, and how to follow His lead will enable us to do the works of Christ, destroying the works of the devil. Healing and deliverance must become the common expression of this gospel of power once again. Bill and the Bethel Church family have taken on this theme for life and ministry. Healings, ranging from cancer to broken bones, to learning disorders and emotional healing, happen with regularity. This is the children's bread. And these works of God are not limited to revival meetings. The church is learning how to take this anointing to the schools, workplace, and neighborhoods with similar results. Bill teaches that we owe the world an encounter with God, and that a Gospel without power is not the Gospel that Jesus preached.
