Jeremy S. Adams is a high school and college political science teacher from Bakersfield, California. A life-long educator, he has won numerous awards and honors as a classroom teacher, including the 2014 California Teacher of the Year Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
He was a finalist in 2013 for the prestigious Carlston Family Foundation National Teacher of the Year Award, a 2013 semi-finalist for the California Department of Education’s California Teacher of the Year Award, and is the first classroom teacher ever inducted into the California State University, Bakersfield Hall of Fame. He has written numerous books on teaching and education and his opinion pieces have been featured in a variety of national news outlets such as the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and the Huffington Post.
