Few sections of the Bible have been as controversial and misunderstood as Genesis 6:1–4. Who were the Nephilim? Were they giants? And who were the sons of God? Fallen angels, godly men, or wicked tyrants?

Wild speculations and sensational claims abound, generating more questions than answers. Regrettably, this misinformation leads many to adopt conspiracy theories while others either avoid the topic altogether or believe there is no hope of discerning the meaning of these verses.
