I realize that Jamie has gone through a number of seismic life shifts since we recorded this conversation back in April 2018, so I wanted to be clear on when this was captured so there’s no confusion as to why we don’t mention this or that in the interview.

What I appreciated about Jamie’s book The Very Worst Missionary: A Memoir or Whatever and about this conversation is that she gives an honest take on her journey of wrestling with faith and being part of and fitting into a faith community. Honestly, it reminded me of my interview with Rachel Held Evans back in the day.
