When Jesus walked the earth, He was anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit in order to set captives free. Today, we can receive the same anointing to see others set free from demonic influence. In this episode, Jake describes how the power of the Holy Spirit can move through our lives to impact others and see deliverance happen. He explains the difference between authority and power, and how we need both in order to be effective in deliverance. He also describes ways that we can grow in the anointing for deliverance. Just as we must increase in our compassion for others, we should also seek to grow in the power to set captives free!

Jake Kail

Jake Kail was called to ministry in college after a life-changing encounter with God. He is a teacher, author, and speaker who is passionate for the presence of God and to see His kingdom come and will be done “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Jake is the author of multiple books, and he speaks at churches, conferences, retreats, and other events. He preaches and teaches the Word with authority, compassion, and a demonstration of the Holy Spirit's power. His ministry is often marked by encounters with God, healing, and deliverance from demonic oppression.

Jake lives with his wife and family in Lancaster, PA where he serves as the lead pastor of Threshold Church.
