YET, I will Rejoice

Habakkuk asked the same questions that many of us have asked God today.

His story provides great insight into how we can choose joy even when things look bleak. God desires us to have new eyes, ears and hinds’ feet. God desires for us to walk with Him in freedom and joy, even if the world is falling apart around us. Habbakuk’s praise was not contingent on circumstances, no matter how dismal they appear to be. … “yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.”

Habakkuk rested his faith in God’s character and not the state of the world around him. He responded with triumph, gladness and fear.
