Possess & Occupy

In Luke 19: 11-27 Jesus is telling the parables of the 10 minas and a noble man. In verse 19 Jesus spoke the phrase: “Occupy until I come.” What exactly was His purpose for sharing this parable?

The minas represent the gifts, talents and abilities He has given us. They are our “Sphere of Influence” or rather the metron and measure God has given us to possess to position ourselves to occupy until He comes. I share on this and then I also am included a great conversation Amie Rogers and I had a great conversation on her show In the Round.
