Welcome to a Brand NEW Summer Podcast Series called: Equipping the Bride. Several months ago, the Lord told me He wanted me to spend more time recording my own podcast episodes and less interviewing authors for a season at least. As I prayed into what He wanted me to share, I felt a mandate from God to equip His Bride for the days ahead. As I began to outline and talk this out, I couldn’t think of a better person than Amie Rogers to join me in this equipping series of discussions. The church, the remnant, the bride, oh my. Which Bridal identity do you relate to the most right now? We need to be moving from one identity to the next we are growing in maturity. The end goal is to become the Bride of Christ. To become a bride worthy of her Brodegroom, but in many areas we have a long way to go.
We need to take a long look at how the church in America has westernized the Bible and Scripture. Instead we need to look at what the time and culture of the day was when the soties took place, when the Bible was written and when Jesus was walking on the earth. This will helps us in our preparation and understanding our identity in becoming the bride. The church and the culture today has an identity crisis and we must come into a fuller understanding and revelation of our true identity in Christ.
