Power Decrees to Break Antichrist Indoctrination

There is a war going on for control of the hearts and minds of our children.

It is a conscious effort to indoctrinate our kids with antichrist values that eat away at the moral platforms upon which “a good life” has been built for centuries. Many of our schools and universities are openly teaching demon doctrines. Even the traditional sexual identity of human beings is being redefined. We are being encouraged to identify with whatever pronoun we want—he, she, they, ze—as gender confusion is declared as normal behavior. Our children’s minds are being bombarded daily with nonsense and lies. Alarmed parents are being told to “stay out of it; we will teach your kids what they need to know.” Even the definition of a woman or a mother is seemingly beyond the level of some tenured professors. They don’t know! How crazy!

If the scenarios that are rampant in today’s culture are confusing to those with common sense, can you imagine what they are doing to our children? We must do something to change the mess in our education system. And we must also do what God told Moses during the Exodus: “Teach My Word to your children. Explain My ways to them. Talk about them in your homes. Go over My sayings with them as you’re walking along life’s pathways. Then they will have good success” (my paraphrase of Deuteronomy 11:18-21 and Joshua 1:8).

The wise King Solomon put it succinctly in Proverbs 22:6 (NCV): “Train children to live the right way, and when they are old, they will not stray from it.” The Message Bible is shouting this verse into our times: “Point your kids in the right direction—when they’re old they won’t be lost.” We must point our kids in the right direction; the tried-and-true direction is God’s way.

This is the reason we wrote this book. It will help point children to God’s way, using stories and examples from the Bible. Each topic is written about in an age-appropriate way, and you will be able to use the devotionals to discuss God’s Word in practical ways, in order to help your children apply His Word to their lives. Biblical decrees are statements of what we believe based on God’s Word, promises, wills, or ways. Job 22:28 (KJV) says you will “decree a thing,” and it will “be established.” The word thing is the Hebrew word omer, which means speech, word, or promise. Declare God’s promises. Declare His Word. Speak what His words say, and they will be established.

We have listed decrees of faith for each topic in this book. Speak them, think about them, pray about them, and they will renew your children’s thinking to align with what God says concerning true identity, purpose, and destiny. The decrees will also instruct your children on how to know God’s will and plan for their lives, how to hear God’s voice, how to live a morally sound life, how to be who God made them to be, how to be successful, what it means to know God as Father, how angels assist them, and more lessons and truths that will help build a solid foundation upon which your children can mature and grow.

Decrees of faith help reinforce a consistent principle throughout the Bible, and that is the importance of our words! Our children must understand this as it is key to them becoming who God says they can be. Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Job 6:25 (NKJV) says, “How forceful are right words! This truth was emphasized to me years ago. I was reading Genesis 1, concerning the awesome description of God creating the heavens and the earth. Suddenly, I clearly heard the voice of Holy Spirit saying, “Words are seeds.” His voice was heavy with meaning and instruction. I have read Genesis 1, which was penned by Moses thousands of years ago, countless times. But this time, I leaned back from my desk and echoed aloud what was recorded in ancient history all those long years ago: “Words are seeds.” I knew Holy Spirit was giving me a truth that is still alive, still powerful, and still needs to be loosed today. It was a moment of enlightenment, and I would never be the same after that revelation.

Words are seeds that germinate and grow. When planted properly, word seeds reproduce themselves. They are the concealed beginnings of something that can grow to fullness when we believe and act upon them.

Decrees are word seeds that we plant into our lives. This book will equip your children with good word seeds (decrees and declarations) that they can speak aloud and grow into God’s promises for their lives. These word seeds will become an abundant harvest that your children can live on when they become adults.
