You’re Anointed to Be Blessed

Bishop T.D. Jakes has influenced millions worldwide to give their love and lives to Jesus.

His Holy Spirit-inspired messages are empowering and encouraging—resulting in day after day and year after year of blessings and miracles.

The content in this guided journal has been specially selected from one of Bishop Jakes’s most inspiring books, Woman, Thou Art Blessed, which has touched people around the world who were searching for more than just religious platitudes.

Similar to Bishop Jakes’s Woman, Thou Art Loosed Guided Journal, this guided journal includes comments and questions to stir up buried events or situations that should be dug up and dealt with—whatever may be holding you back spiritually, physically, relationally, mentally, and/or emotionally from being who God created you to be.

On every page are valuable Scripture passages pertaining to a lavish lifestyle in Christ, godly wisdom from Bishop Jakes, as well as “thought prompts”—all designed to illuminate anything that may have been preventing your true, unique self from shining through.

This guided journal may be used independently or in combination with the book Woman, Thou Art Blessed. Jesus Christ brought with Him abundant-living blessings from Heaven for all of God’s children for every area of your life. Divine purpose and promises are yours for the asking.

God enables you to make the radical changes necessary to rock your world with His blessings.

A few of the numerous Scriptures throughout the Bible that declare God’s promise of blessings include:

You [God] prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings (Psalm 23:5 NLT).

When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings (Psalm 84:6 NLT).

You [God] go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head (Psalm 139:5 NLT).

For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children (Isaiah 44:3 NLT).

From his [God’s] abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another (John 1:16 NLT).

The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all (Acts 4:33 NLT).

When he [Barnabas] arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord (Acts 11:23 NLT).

This interactive journal allows you to delve into a world of blessings where God’s abundant love showers you with joy and grace. You will feel His mercy and see His wisdom at every page turn. Considering and answering the prompts will stir, motivate, strengthen, and give you pause for intentional, deep reflection—venturing into previously unknown spiritual realms.

Journeying with the Holy Spirit, you will explore a beautiful space that only God could create, especially for you.

Get ready to experience a new life in Christ as you peel away the troubles and trauma to uncover the blessings waiting for you and freely given to you by your heavenly Father. Abundant life and blessings galore await you!

Like Jesus

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters (Luke 13:13 NLT).

God has predestined you to shape up into a picture of Christ on earth. Christ is the firstborn of a huge family of siblings who all bear a striking resemblance to their Father. God presses the oil of His anointing out of your life. When you forsake your will in order to be shaped into a clearer picture of Christ, you will see little drops of oil coming out in your walk and work for God. In short, He predestined pressing in your life, and as you are pressed, you gradually conform to the image of your predestined purpose.

  • In what ways do I resemble Jesus:

  • In what ways can I attempt to reflect Jesus in my everyday walk with Him:

The Promise Keeper

And the Lord said, “That’s right, and it means that I am watching, and I will certainly carry out all my plans” (Jeremiah 1:12 NLT).

God is sovereign. If He decrees something, it will surely come to pass. That doesn’t stop the evil one from trying to delay the fulfillment of what God has said, but he can’t stop it from happening. Your blessing may not come in the way you thought it would. It may not come through the person you thought it would. But if God said it, then rest assured it cannot be denied.

Sometimes we need to let go of our ideas of how things should be to see where He’s moving. If things didn’t go according to plan, ask God for His perspective. Ask Him if there is anything you need to let go of—perhaps a past disappointment—so you can see that He indeed is the Promise Keeper.

  • Knowing that God is always watching over me brings me to a place of:

  • Today I accept the truth that God keeps His word and His promises—which will change my life in these ways:

Fresh Hope

[Eve] bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed” (Genesis 4:25 NKJV).

Loss is very real and all of us will have to walk through it at certain points in life. The emotions Eve must have gone through were legitimate and valid. One of her sons was gone forever. The other was convicted of murder, which isn’t anyone’s dream for their child (see Genesis 4). The heartbreak would have gone very deep. If you’ve suffered loss or disappointment, take the time to grieve. Let God meet you in that situation and heal your heart, beloved, but don’t stay there. God has promises over your life that will not be denied. Let Him take you by the hand and lead you into the next season. Spend time inviting the Holy Spirit into your disappointment or loss today. Ask God for fresh hope for your good and beautiful future.

  • I know deep down that God is able to:

  • Have I ever really invited the Holy Spirit into my life during times of loss:
