Serve An Eviction Notice To The Devil!
Once you are confident of your authority over demonic powers, you can set out to kick the devil out of your home.
You can begin to evict them verbally and forcefully in the name of Jesus. Remember, Jesus said:
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:17-18).
Jesus has given you authority in your home, and after you strip the enemy of his rights through repentance, he has to go. You need to make a way of escape for the demon powers, so open the doors and windows of your home. Plead the blood of Jesus over your home, and pray this prayer:
I command every demon power that took up residence in my home to go, now, in Jesus’ name. I evict you by the authority of Christ. You have no right to dwell in my home. I put a cease and desist order on your foul operations in my midst and command you to go to dry places. You are not welcome in my home. You must go, in Jesus’ name.
If you know specific demons that are in your home, such as infirmity or perversion, call them out by name. For example, you would say, “Spirit of ________, I command you to leave my house now, in Jesus’ name. I plead the blood of Jesus against you.” It’s not necessary to know the name of every demon that has taken up residence in your home or that has brought a curse upon you, but if the Lord shows you the name, calling it out can make the fight end more quickly.
The Holy Spirit may also lead you to call on angels for help. Remember this: God commands angels. Humans do not command angels. Psalm 103:20 tells us, “Bless the Lord, you His angels, who are mighty, and do His commands, and obey the voice of His word” (MEV). The New Living Translation of that verse reads: “Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.” And The Message reads, “Bless God, all you armies of angels, alert to respond to whatever he wills. Bless God, all creatures, wherever you are—everything and everyone made by God.”
In my book Angels on Assignment Again, I offer this prayer on activating warfare angels:
Father, I thank You that if You are for me, who can be against me? (See Romans 8:31.) I thank You that You are a warrior! You have made me a warrior! You always lead me into triumph in Christ Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 2:14). Thank You for victory in every battle. Thank You for wisdom, strategies, and insight from the Holy Spirit. Thank You for my supernatural weapons. And I thank You for Your warring angels. I ask You to dispatch them now, on my behalf, in Jesus’ name!
You need to continue pleading the blood of Jesus and commanding demons to flee until you feel a breakthrough in your spirit. The Bible speaks of warfare as a wrestling match, and sometimes you have to wrestle the demons because stubborn devils that have been living in your home will typically not leave without some resistance. You’ll have to stand your ground like you would with a flesh and blood thief in your home.
