Satan Has No Legal Rights! Enforce Your Life Supernatural with Power & Authority
Excerpted from The Ascension Dimension.
The unveiling of Jesus and the Church in the realm of the spirit was the greatest devastation the kingdom of darkness would ever experience.
It was so destructive to satan’s operations in the spirit realm that it totally stripped him of any authority to function unchecked in the spirit realm again. What do I mean by unchecked? One of the reasons I talk about the Garden of Eden so much is because it reveals so much of the what, how, and why of redemption and the plan of satan in the earthly realm.
When satan fell from Heaven, he was forbidden to have any authority on earth. All authority over the earth and on earth was given to Adam. To this day satan is still in the earthly realm, but he has no rights or authority of his own. The legal jurisdiction over earth was given to Adam. And when Adam sinned, he allowed satan the freedom to function in the earth’s jurisdiction. He is now out from under the authority of God in and over the earth. Satan still has no rights or authorization given by God to function on earth, but because of Adam’s treason, and because of there not being another man in authority on the earth, he was loosed to function.
Remember, satan and demons are spirit beings. This means Adam’s authority was also in and over the spirit realm. When Jesus was on the earth, He demonstrated total authority and mastery over the realm of the spirit. Consider when Jesus healed the blind and mute man who was demon possessed in Matthew 12:
Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house (Matthew 12:22-29 KJV).
How could Jesus cast out devils? Jesus could cast out devils because he had authority in the spirit realm over spiritual beings. In other words, He had a Kingdom that operated in a superior authority over the kingdom of satan. This is why Jesus said we could enter a strong man’s house and take his goods. And that’s exactly what happened in the ascension. Jesus entered the heavens and spoiled principalities and powers and made them subject to Him. Now that Jesus has reclaimed all of this authority in the heavens, He wants the Church to permeate the realm of the Spirit and enforce His authority.
The Scripture says we are His body, “the fulness of him that FILLETH all in all” (Ephesians 1:23 KJV). What does this mean? It means that there is not a place or functionality in the realm of the spirit where Jesus doesn’t want His authority exercised or represented. The word filleth in the Greek is pleroo. It means “to make replete, to cram, to make full, to fill up.” Jesus’s goal was to cram and fill up the heavens with His body, so there would be nowhere satan could hide or function without being made subject to His body, the Church.
Wow! This revelation must be shouted from the mountaintops. If the whole body of Christ would assemble in the heavens, and exercise Jesus’s authority, we could see nations shaken in a day. This plan that God has for mankind to rule with Him is astounding.
Jesus could have just sat down at the right hand of the Father by Himself. After all, He did all of the sacrificing, and, therefore, might believe He deserves all of the authority. But just as with Adam, God wanted mankind to share His authority and triumph over the earth and the enemy. Therefore, when Jesus reclaims the authority over the earth, He also gives it right back to mankind through the Church. I guess we will have to come to terms with the fact that we were born to rule! The Godhead just will not let us run from it. We were raised up and seated with Christ in the heavenly places for this purpose of populating the spirit realm full of spirit beings operating in Jesus’s authority.
This must be preached with salvation. In our endeavor to get people born again, we have focused primarily on the forgiveness of sin and eternity in Heaven. By all means this should be the main emphasis. However, it should not be the only emphasis. Jesus didn’t die just to get you to Heaven. He also died to sit you in heavenly places in Christ. All of this is part of salvation, and because Jesus paid such a high price, we owe Him not to leave any of it out! It’s already paid for.
It astounds me that so many people believe that most of what Jesus accomplished on the cross will be experienced in eternity, as if we have to wait to get to Heaven to experience it or wait until the millennial reign. While I agree that there are certain aspects of redemption we will never get to experience on this side of Heaven, I also contend and believe there are many aspects of redemption available now.
If there is still a devil on earth after the cross, there’s still a power on earth to defeat him. If he’s still working in the earth to kill, steal, and destroy, you can be sure that God and His power are at work to defeat him. This is why the Church is here—to carry on the mission and privilege of destroying the works of the devil. As Jesus filled the heavens with His body the Church, I believe that His goal was to seat us, for the purpose of unseating principalities and powers. Think of it this way, the enemy can only rule on earth to the degree he can rule in the heavenly places. I believe that is what Paul was trying to convey when he was talking about why we had to put on the whole armor of God:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV).
Paul was conveying to the Church that our battle is spiritual. Satan does not want to be dethroned or removed from being over people and places he previously dominated and ruled. Not only that, but he is also constantly trying to take new territory to rule. Jesus defeated him, but Jesus didn’t displace him. To displace him is our assignment! Until satan is cast into the pit, he has a right to be here in the earth realm. Even though he has a “right” to be here, he still has no “rights” (privileges or entitlements) while he is here. Jesus owns all of the rights and permission to function in the heavens and on earth. Jesus stripped him of any rights to function, which means everything he’s doing, he’s doing illegally. God forbade him to operate and raised up the Church to cast him out!
This is our warfare, but remember, it’s not to defeat satan. Jesus already did that. Rather, it is to remove and displace him from operatng where he has no legal jurisdiction. If the Church does not occupy the spiritual territory given to Jesus in the ascension, then satan will continue to violate the earth and humanity. This is a statement that I want you to engrave into your heart and mind forever. Every time you as a child of God allow satan to defeat you, you allow satan to disrespect Jesus. That’s right! You are seated far above him in Christ. Therefore, when you don’t put him under the feet of Jesus, you allow him to act as if the ascension never happened.
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence (Colossians 1:12-18 KJV).
You have been delivered from the power of darkness. The word power is exousia in the Greek, and it means “authority.” Thus, satan has no rights to your life. You are legally off-limits to him. And, you have been transferred into the Kingdom of Jesus! The enemy knows this. He knows you are off-limits to him whether in the realm of the spirit, or in the realm of the natural. However, he will test you, but when you realize that he is actually trying to disrespect Jesus by attacking you, something in your spirit will rise up and you will declare, “I will not allow you to use my life as a means to dishonor Christ! Jesus put you under His feet, so bow!” Now you’re being the Church.
That’s what Jesus desires for us to be, His body ruling in the heavenly places and on earth. It is my deepest desire for the body of Christ to become assembled in the heavenlies. I’m all for us getting together every Sunday to assemble in a local church, but until we get together as an assembly in the spirit, satan will still dominate most of the earth. We have more churches than ever before in the history of the world. The question is, with the addition of online services and media outreach, why does it seem like the adversary is gaining more ground? Now you know why! Because a church assembled inside of building on Sunday does not necessarily equate as the church assembled in the heavens exercising authority and privilege.
Sadly, many people sitting in pews every Sunday have never heard some of the things I’m sharing in this book, which is why I’m writing it. I believe with all of my heart, that if every seated saint of God would take it upon themselves to start unseating principalities, we would see massive changes in our families, cities, states, and nations. In this next generation, we must clearly define the Church as the Ekklesia we were created to be! Ekklesia is the Greek word for “Church.” We are called out people from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God; we are assembled in the heavens to enforce the authority of Christ over satan and his kingdom, so that God’s will can be done on earth!
