Chuck Pierce: ‘See into a Dimension of Heaven You’ve Not Fully Seen’
Excerpted from The Ascension Dimension.
We meet many people on our path of life.
Many of those people we influence and some of them influence us. God has placed certain people on our path that are meant to be part of our life. I first met Isaac Pitre when we were both doing a television presentation for TBN. I knew immediately that God had put this man on my path to be a major contributor to my future. At that time, I had no idea of Isaac’s incredible ability in presenting concepts from the Word of God, but through the years of our relationship, I have watched him rightly divide the Word, mature, and go beyond most people I know in understanding revelation. That is why The Ascension Dimension is a must book for you to read. This book will help you understand the power that is offered to you through the Blood-bought sacrifice of our Messiah. This book will also help you see into a dimension of Heaven that perhaps you have not fully seen, as well as understand who you are in Christ.
Ascend: Let’s Go Up!
I find it interesting that God instructs His people to alah and worship. We are to boldly rise up, ascend, come into the Throne Room, and worship Him. When we follow this sequence, God’s strategy of restoration is revealed to us. One key biblical passage is Amos 9. This chapter is about the restoration of David’s Tabernacle.
The Lord God of hosts, He who touches the earth and it melts, and all who dwell there mourn; all of it shall swell like the River, and subside like the River of Egypt. He who builds His layers in the sky, and has founded His strata in the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth; the Lord is His name (Amos 9:5-6 NKJV).
We often overlook these verses, yet they are vital for us to understand. As we worship, we go up. The “layers” are like steps and stairs or upper chambers through the heavenlies that the Lord Jesus Christ has paved. It is a path that leads to the Throne Room.
These layers are like vaults that have keys. Jesus gives us the keys to unlock each vault as we ascend and draw near to Him in worship. Imagine each vault filled with treasure. Then we finally gain access to the Throne Room. These “layers in the sky” are also connected with the Lord’s “strata in the earth.” As we ascend in worship and come into the Throne Room, the Earth’s strata begin to unlock. This planet we call home changes and receives the glory of God.
In the spirit, we are united with Christ in His ascension into Heaven. So when I say ascend, I mean get up, come up, and be restored! Walk in His presence and light! Break open a new day! Grow! Increase! Leap forth! Rise up and worship! Isaiah 60:1(NKJV) puts it this way: “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
Jesus is the example par excellence of communion, fellowship and prayer. The Lord’s Prayer is a pattern He gave the disciples to follow to teach them to have similar intimacy and fellowship with the Father. A wonderful prayer by Paul is recorded in Ephesians 1:15-23, where the apostle declares that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. He then prayed that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened, and that we would know the hope of His calling for our lives. He went on to share that Jesus had put all things under His feet and that He had been given to the Church to be head over all things. He then began to share with the church in Ephesus that even though they had walked in darkness and disobedience, aligned with the prince of the power of the air, God, through His rich mercy and grace, had extended and made His love available so that they could be made alive with Christ.
Oh, what a marvelous grace! This aliveness causes us to be raised up together and seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. We are in union with Him in His resurrection, in His ascension, and in His rulership. This union allows us to share in the present works of His Kingdom power.
Because Jesus has paved the way and become the model for us, He has given us the right to ascend and then gives us even greater access to the Father’s Throne Room than Old Testament believers had. When He ascended, He gave gifts to mankind. Most of us know these gifts as the fivefold ministry gifts. I call them the ascension gifts that govern Earth. Jesus released these gifts back down to individuals on Earth so that we would maintain the strata. Without us ascending, we can never come into the fullness of the unity of these gifts or exercise the faith that overcomes the evil workings of the enemy within the Earth.
The Effect of Jesus’ Ascension on Earth
Let’s think about this for a moment. While the people watched, Jesus ascended! He had promised His ascension during the time He trained His disciples, before His crucifixion. Now His followers were watching Him fulfill His promise. It is difficult for us to grasp the concept of ascension. Yet if we press further, we find that Jesus’ ascension also provides promises and hope for us for the future.
He first descended so that He could ascend. Upon His ascension He gave the necessary gifts for mankind that would enforce the victory He had just won. Mankind was to align and operate in those gifts from age to age so His victorious Church would fully unlock His Kingdom in the earth. This Kingdom would reflect Heaven’s rule in the earth realm (the Lord’s Prayer).
When Jesus ascended into Heaven, He gave His Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Each of these gifts has a different function, but every believer needs to receive ministry from all five. Ephesians 4:12 tells us that these five unique gifts have one common purpose: to equip God’s people to do the work of ministry and enforce His authority on earth. Isaac Pitre has fully represented our identity, call, and authority in his book. Get it, and as you read, I declare you will see into a new dimension!
