Note from the Publisher: We Need Prophetic Solutions for this Racial Crisis!

We are a Pentecostal publishing house.  That's no surprise to most of our readers!  But in the midst of our present national crisis (which is quickly escalating to global chaos), we must remember and honor those God has used to shape the church and shake the Earth.

When it comes to the birth of modern-day Pentecostalism, we owe our history, in many ways, to a spiritually-hungry one-eyed African American man named William Seymour.  Many are familiar with the great Azusa Street Revival of 1906; but I wonder how many are familiar with Seymour, whose desire for God drove him past the prejudices and Jim Crow laws of his day.  The lengths he went to hear teaching on the Holy Spirit are outstanding.  God used Seymour as a powerful leader in the Azusa Street revival, but what makes that outpouring so glorious is that differences and divisions were "washed away in the blood" and unity was achieved through coming together a God's people, Jesus' bride, and Holy Spirit's ecclesia in the Earth.

Racism is a demonic spirit that wars against the "fellowship of the Holy Spirit" and ultimately, the one-ness we all need to see the nations impacted for the Gospel.  We denounce it.  We reject it.  And we stand with our brothers and sisters who have been on the frontlines of revival and Holy Spirit outpouring for generations!

Since Destiny Image's birth in 1983, Don Nori Sr. was very intentional about publishing anyone who heard and carried the word of the Lord.  As a result, we have enjoyed being a diverse community of authors, with prophetic leaders from across the Earth - different tribes, tongues, peoples and nations - representing the global body of Christ.

This has been our objective since the beginning and will continue to be in the days ahead.Where do we go from here?  Of course, I ask what the Scriptures say... but I do also wonder, "What would Don Nori Sr., do?"  I know he would lift his eyes and rather than listen to the noise that is consuming the airways right now, he would encourage all of us to press in to God to receive solutions from Heaven.  THAT is what we need now more than ever!  And may we proactively, intentionally seek the Lord for this in the days ahead.
