Winning the Battle in the Wilderness
There will always be a battle in the wilderness—and it’s twofold. You’ll have to battle your carnal nature that grows impatient in the waiting. You’ll be tempted to take matters into your own hands to bring change into your life that only I can bring. You’ll grow weary in the waiting if you don’t keep your eyes on Jesus. But your enemy will add another dimension of warfare to your wilderness experience, taking advantage of your impatience and weariness to tempt you to give up altogether. Your promised land is ahead. Join Me in the war against your flesh and against the enemy of your soul.
Matthew 4:1–11; Hebrews 6:12; Galatians 6:9
Prayer
Father, I will walk through any wilderness You lead me into, but please keep me from temptation. Help me to walk and not grow weary.
Decree
I decree I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I declare I am able to walk through any wilderness through His grace and by His mercy, in Jesus’s name.
