"Mommy, I Saw Angels Chase Off the Demons"

When my boys were young, my husband and I were leading a Saturday night church service. During my husband’s preaching, there was a lady who kept yelling, “I hate God!” At the end of the preaching we took time for prayer, and the intercessors were looking at me for direction on what to do for this lady. But I felt the Lord tell me to wait.

I went up to offer prayer, and the lady’s friend came to me. I prayed with her and quick freedom came. She then grabbed her friend who had still been yelling, “I hate God!” She told her that she needed me to pray for her. She said, “I don’t want her to pray!” but her friend convinced her to talk to me.

I sat down with her, and she began to tell me that she had come to church to make God angry because she was planning to go home and commit suicide and wanted to go to hell. I asked if she wanted to be free. We processed three mental pictures together, all having to do with friends of hers who had died unexpectedly. The Lord was showing her in each place where He was for them before they died, and that they were now with Him in heaven. The last picture she processed was of a friend of hers from high school. They had gone to the fair and went on a Ferris wheel together where he then died of an overdose.

Just then, my son Cory who was 12 at the time walked over and handed her a picture he’d drawn. He hadn’t heard our conversation, but the picture was of her friend wearing the same shirt he’d worn on the Ferris wheel with his hands up to the Lord! She was amazed! I was then able to pray with her through deliverance, and it was extremely quick, only taking 3-5 minutes. Then I led her back to the Lord.At the end, my eight year old son, Timmy, came over and said, “Mom, that was fun!” I said, “What was?” He said, “As soon as you sat down, I saw all the angels chasing off the demons. And it was weird, Mommy. At one point all the angels started dancing over her!” And I knew that heaven was rejoicing as she was saved.
